In this 253rd installment of our show, we dive into the mailbag to answer some of your questions with the help of our special gues, Witespy from ReadyToFlyQuads! Also, during our 'personal updates' portion of the show, I give a short review of a new product I've been able to try out recently and share my impression of a really nice new Quadcopter frame that I just received! Will you be in the LA area and are interested in attending the RCX on May 17-18th? You can score one of 8 free tickets being given away by SDParkFlyers by liking their Facebook page, and commenting and sharing the post there regarding the giveaway! In this 252nd offering of our show, we share what we've been up to as of late. I got to attend the Austin Multi-Rotor Fest and met up with some old friends, and made some new ones, too! I saw some great new technology and walked away with a great experience, thoug the weather was less than desirable. We dig into the mailbag this week and try to answer some questions, mainly regarding how we light up our aircraft for night-flying. This is some pretty good information, since SEFF is coming up in just a few weeks and night-flying is one of the most popular events for this gathering! LINKS: Bobby's Charging Station (Cool!!) |

This 251st installment of our show has the whole gang present and we try to build on last week's segment where we continue discussing the items every workshop should have. We also talk about how GWS has sponsored our 2014SEFFFATCCCGWSUCNRC 'thing' we are planning to do at SEFF this year with three cool prizes. Furthermore, they are discounting their kits to make it even cheaper for you to get YOUR airframe to participate in this unofficial event! In addition, we try our best to answer a couple of listener questions that you may find informative, as well. In this, our 250th installment of the show, we delve into some of the essential things you'll need when setting up a workshop for that first 'real' build. Pretty much ANY area can be used for assembling an ARF or BNF project, but when you are ready to tackle building a kit, you'll be needing some special tools, as well as a designated area to pull off your build. This is a timely episode, as some of us are tackling a BIG top-secret build project that will, hopefully, be ready in time for SEFF. The size of this project is even going t be challenging for MY personal workshop! The only links I am posting this week are for some great events this year that you should consider attending if you can!
