In this week's show, we dip into the mail bag and do our best to answer some listener emails that have been lingering for a while. There's some discussion on safely parallel charging your LiPos, some Taranis info, and even some advice on getting a listener started in Multi-Rotor FPV. LINKS: Radd's School Of Rotary Flight The 'theme' for this week's slideshow (shown during our live stream) turned out to be detailed pictures of the cool stuff we all rounded up for our Veteran from our "Help A Vet" project. I am happy to report that three packages are in transit and should arrive soon! My sincerest THANKS!! goes out to all the kind people that helped with this project. As discussed in the show, there were many things offered up that we chose NOT to accept for this package, and I would like that offer my THANKS for those offers, as well. Had we accepted everything, I think it would have taken an entire truck to deliver it all!! LoL |

This week we get a chance to help someone out with an interesting project aimed at satisfying his collegiate requirements. Our friend Willmsy decided to take on the task of building his first Multi-Rotor aircraft and set it up with his first FPV system. The end result is to have a UAV that can be used as a tool for Search And Rescue applications. Join us as we do our best to offer up options and considerations to Willmsy on the interesting project! In this 260th installment of the show, we step up on our soapbox for a bit regarding all that is going on today between modelers and the FAA. Now is the time for us to pull together and inform people what our hobby is all about, rather than letting the misleading mainstream media do it in their most sensationalistic way possible (Ewww! Scary Drones!). LINKS: Helicopter Physics Video Series Something's Fishy In Florida... New York Incident (and HERE with Video) Mashable Article On Drone Laws

In this 259th installment of our little show, we are without KarlK and IFYOS - they said they were busy with other things, but I'm betting they were still hungover from their Cinco De Mayo festivities. LoL Nonetheless, Laine, Nav, and I carry the show this week with some news of some interesting new items, events, and where we are with the Help A Vet program (note that we still need a few items!). We thought about naming this 258th installment something like "Let's Hum Along With Laine", but decided that was just too long of a title. LoL In this show, we get to share some really interesting listener pictures (available at link below), a couple of interesting videos, and the fact that one of our favorite kit-makers is now selling a couple of our favorite kits! We also visit with our buddy, Mark Harrison from Eastbay-RC, for an interesting discussion relative to last week's OpenSource discussion, and then we get into some Taranis talk. Yep, we're still diggin' on this great radio! Please don't forget about our Help A Vet program! In this episode we share a few things we are still looking for and would enjoy any help you maybe able to offer. LINKS: This Week's Pictures (Check out Hotcross' trailer and the WMPF Liberty Bipe!)
